Kathmandu : Getting There
Indian Nationals entering Nepal through the Kathmandu airport require a valid passport or a voter ID card. All other nationalities need a visa to enter Nepal. You can get a visa for 60 days from any Royal Nepalese Embassy or consulate. You can also get a visa at the airport upon arrival, but expect a long line. Children under 10 do not have to pay any visa fees.
Culture and Customs
Nepalese people are friendly, simple and helpful. The peoples are polite and expect their politeness to be reciprocated. The culture very similar to Indian culture, thanks to the majority Hindu population.
